Pre-Op Instructions

Thank you for making an appointment at our clinic!  For your pet’s safety, please follow these simple instructions:

  1. All surgeries need an appointment except for feral cats.
If you are trapping feral cats, please call us the day before with your "estimate" so we may plan our surgery schedule.
  1. Do not feed your pet after midnight (12:00 am) the night before surgery. Water is ok but no food.
If your pet is an outdoor animal, it is important that you bring them inside and remove food and water at midnight (12:00 am.) Do not allow your pet to roam free and potentially get into garbage or other food sources.

  2. Please allow your pet time to go to the bathroom before coming to the clinic.

  3. Bring your pet to the clinic in the morning at 8:00 am. Late arrivals cannot have surgery and will need to be rescheduled.
  1.  Please leave your pet in the car until you have completed our admission form and paid for services.  We accept cash, credit, or debit cards. No checks please.
  1. Cats must be in a hard-sided, cat carrier. Dogs must be on a leash or carrier.   Feral cats must be in a humane trap (we can loan traps to you).
  1. Your pet will be ready to go home at 4:00 pm. You must pick-up your pet no later than 4:45 pm, our closing time. Any animals left overnight can be released to the nearest boarding facility; there will be a penalty of $30.00 or more per night.
