Pre-Op Instructions

Minimize

Thank you for making an appointment at our clinic. We will call to remind you of your appointment 2-3 days in advance. For your pet’s safety, please follow these simple instructions:
  1. All surgeries need an appointment except for feral cats.

  1. If your pet is 4 months of age or older--Do not feed your pet after 11:00 pm the night before surgery. Water is ok but no food.

  1. If your pet is 4 months of age or younger—Please give your pet a small handful  of food  the morning of the surgery. Water is fine.

  1. If your pet is an outdoor animal, it is important that you bring them inside and remove food and water at 11:00 pm. Do not allow your pet to roam free and potentially get into garbage or other food sources.

  1. Please allow your pet time to go to the bathroom before coming to the clinic.

  1. Drop-off your pet at the clinic in the morning at 8:00 am. Late arrivals cannot have surgery and will need to be rescheduled.

  1.  Please leave your pet in the car until you have completed our admission form and paid for services.  We accept cash, MC/Visa or debit cards. No checks please.

  1. Cats must be in a hard-sided, cat carrier that is lined with newspaper or a towel. Dogs must be on a leash or carrier.

  1. Your pet will be ready to go home between 4:30 pm and 5:00 pm in the evening. You must pick-up your pet no later than 5:15 as we do not board animals. Any animals left overnight can be released to the nearest humane society and will be charged a $40.00 penalty per night.
