  • The clinic is open to anyone regardless of income, but we strongly encourage those with a relationship with a private veterinarian to use that vet for your spay/neuter needs.  This reserves valuable surgery spots for clients in need.

  • All surgeries, excluding feral cats, require an appointment.

  • The Rig is parked at 4205 NW 6th Street 32609, just south of the intersection of 441 and NW 6th Street and  just three blocks north of 39th Ave.

  • Drop off your pet between 8:00-8:30 am on the day of surgery. Pick up time is 5 pm to same day.

  • Animals must be healthy, at least 8 weeks old,  and weigh at least 2 pounds. Due to space limitations, we currently cannot accommodate dogs over 65 pounds.

  • If your pet is more than 7 years old, please call for special pre-operative evaluation instructions.

  •  We accept cash, credit, or debit cards, but not checks.  Payment is requested at the time of pet drop-off.  more information

  • For your pet's safety, please read the pre-op instructions.

  • Cats must be in a secure hard plastic carrier.  Please line the carrier with an old towel.

  • Dogs must be on a leash or in a secure hard plastic carrier.

  • Feral cats must be in a humane wire trap.

  • If you cannot make your scheduled appointment, please cancel at least 2 days in advance so that we may schedule another pet in your place.

  • Your pet’s safety is our primary concern. The veterinarian may decline surgery on any animal if there are health concerns.

Payment by cash, credit, or debit cards is requested at the time of pet drop-off.  Checks are NOT acceptable.
