Orientation

First-Time Volunteers are required to attend an orientation meeting.

Orientations are usually held the Wednesday evening before the OC Clinic at the UF College of Veterinary Medicine (directions to the Vet School). To participate you must sign up with the Coordinator and complete the required forms. You are required to attend only one orientation and are welcome to attend the orientation as far in advance of your first clinic as you would like.

Where do we meet?

Directions to the Vet School

Parking restrictions at the UF College of Veterinary Medicine are lifted on weekends. It is most convenient to park in either of the Eastern parking lots (Blue Decal signs). There will be signs posted at the front of the VAB (Veterinary Academic Buidling) that will direct you to the lecture hall.

What do I need to bring?

  • Questions! Feel free to ask lots of questions during the orientation.
  • Bring a check or cash to purchase your OC scrub top ($10).
  • Please bring your printed forms if you had trouble emailing the forms.
